In 2006, Arlene decided to go the solo route full time. She took a leap of faith and quit her unfulfilling daytime career to persue the passion of her dreams. Here is where her nickname ArleneWow! was discovered. It seemed that wherever she performed her audiences would be slack-jawed and say "Wow, that was awesome, Arlene!" Her friends and fans began calling her ArleneWow! and the rest is history.

Today ArleneWow! can be found along the east coast in many of her incarnations…performing solo, with duo Ear Candy for the Soul or just having fun playing bass for Hugh Birdsall’s Dogbite.
