The Matchstick Architects

indie Rock, alt-Country

The Matchstick Architects are a New England based indie rock band coming together from the various sectors of the Northeast.

The band puts forth a soulful blend of country, blues, folk, jazz, and Americana, influenced from an eclectic mix of artists ranging from songstresses such as Lucinda Williams and Aimee Mann to purveyors of the American indie scene such as The Decemberists.

The Matchstick Architects play in and around New England and beyond in support of their debut CD entitled... All That's In Between. The band is looking forward to recording its second CD, which promises to be a worthy follow-up to their debut effort.

"Tom Conklin's rousing guitar playing mixes delightfully with the honey voice of Dar Maloney on The Matchstick Architect's debut album, All That's In Between… a promising debut."

- Dave Michaels, Exit 97.7 WEXT, Troy, NY.
