George T. Gregory

Connecticut Blues Hall of Fame saxophonist and vocalist, George T. Gregory, has been delighting audiences from New England to the San Francisco Bay Area for many years with his modern mix of original and cover songs in R & B, Electric Blues, Motown, Pop Jazz, and New Orleans style rock and roll. His band provides a flavorful mix of music that makes everyone get up and dance.

The George T. Gregory Band has appeared in concert with Muddy Waters, Taj Mahal, B.B. King, Little River Band, Papa John Creech, The Chambers Brothers, Elvin Bishop, Climax Blues Band, The Fabulous Rhinestones, NRBQ, John Lee Hooker, Hugh Masekela and many others.

In San Francisco, George performed with his own band and also appeared on shows with Malo; Jimmy Pugh, keyboardist with the Robert Cray Band; Mike Osbourne, guitarist for John Lee Hooker; Michelle Bastian of Big Brother and the Holding Company; and, recording sessions for David Frieberg of the Quick Silver Messenger Service.

George was on the Board of Directors for the Bay Area N.A.R.A.S. (Grammy Awards) Chapter, serving for two years as the conductor for the all-star band at the Chapter's Grammy Awards Banquet.

George has appeared with Harry Lee and the Back Alley Blues Band, the Sensations, Shades and Souled Out, a band he formed with keyboardist Kelly Brown. Along with Kelly Brown, George is proud to announce the release of his new CD "Love The Life".

George received the "Mojo Boogey Award" on the January 2012 Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise and appears with Tommy Castro in the Robert Muggi film "All Jams on Deck" Shot on the October 2010 cruise.

George is eager to bring the George T. Gregory Band, to audiences throughout the country.
