The Bobby Deitch Band (BDB) plays the uplifting original soul music of Bobby Deitch. Following an illustrious career as a drummer, keyboardist, guitarist, songwriter and educator, the time is right to share Bobby's meaningful songs with the world.

Based out of the New York City metro area, the BDB recorded their debut album, "Grateful" in April 2017 with a sold out performance at the world renowned Blue Note Jazz Club, NYC. Bobby's music reflectsthe musical styles of Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Al Green, The Beatles, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

In addition to their core lineup, many great musicians have been involved in this family affair including son and Grammy award nominee Adam Deitch (Lettuce, Break Science) and 2 time Grammy winner Nigel Hall (Lettuce, Nigel Hall Band) as co-producers/performers. Cameo performances were given by George Porter Jr. (The Funky Meters), Eric Krasno (Lettuce, Eric Krasno Band), Adam "Shmeeans" Smirnoff (Lettuce), Nikki Glaspie (Beyonce, Nth Power), and others.
