Adam Falcon

blues, soul

As a child, Adam was constantly being introduced to a wealth of great music by his parents, a dad who hailed from New Orleans and a mom who originated from Harlem. Digesting early sounds of Fats Domino, Aretha Franklin and B.B. King, he soon discovered the many genres popularized by the legendary artists of his youth.

Some of the artists that he’s worked and/or shared the stage with are Roberta Flack, Sophie B. Hawkins, Whitney Houston, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Jim Lauderdale, Robert Palmer, Phyllis Hyman, Peter Gabriel, and Nona Hendryx. “Either recording an album for The Village People or playing with Jonathan Butler on The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, it was one big musical trip” says Falcon.

The Light Shines is Adam Falcon’s most recent effort. The EP, released in 2015, marks his fifth recording to date. The moods on this record will take you on a ride from New Orleans to the Caribbean and drop you off somewhere in the Delta, with stops along the way.

"Adam Falcon’s rock-infused funk and pure, soulful voice recall the most honest of ’70s rhythm & blues, recalling the best of Shuggie Otis, Curtis Mayfield, and Marvin Gaye".
